The Tribomech Heated Liquid Bath is an accessory which allows heated and lubricated testing on a wide range of commercial and home-made tribometers and friction / wear test instruments.
The device allows tests to be performed up to 110 Celsius with minimal heating of the tribometer. The temperature range is sufficient to cover applications ranging from bio through to engine oils.
Temperature is very precisely controlled via a very simple-to-operate PID controller - just use the up and down arrows to set the temperature and it will take care of the rest for you, no need to perform tuning.
Tribomech is able to provide various adapters to allow the Heated Liquid Bath to be fitted to most instruments. We are also able to provide bespoke adapters with the provision of a few basic dimensions.
